That's what I'm expecting anyway.
My thoughts exactly.

Hasn't Jon said that Europe is going to be more Spring than Summer this time round?

It will be the same as always.
Stadiums in Europe, mostly playing the songs we heard a million times before, and just a few new songs, including 1 or 2 from Lost Highway.

I'm glad I got my tickets for Bruce Springsteen & The E-Street Band, that show will be outstanding, as usual! : )

Okay, ya' know what, I'm getting really ****ing fed up with this!

If you've heard them a million times before and are bored, DON'T GO! There are hundreds of thousands of people who don't go to see Jovi every other show and may actually never have heard them live, and never have heard the glory of Prayer in all its wondrous stadium rocking glory.

We're lucky, we've seen them so many times, and so yeah....we'd love the different songs, the ones we never hear....but you know what, even if they play the same damn set-list every night, I've NEVER been bored at a Jovi show....and every time I see them I've forgotten just how freaking good they actually are.

This was hit home to me at MK when they played Livin' In Sin and some lil teenage couple were wondering when they were going to play bed of roses, and at the time I said "Bed Of Roses...get lost...heard it a million times....this is something special" and afterwards, I felt really bad. That was probably the dude and his girlfirend's first Jovi show (they'd been marvelling about the stage set-up earlier and generally wowing at everything) and an old cynic like me goes and possibly ruins it for them by being a dick.

So I'll never slag off a set list again - while I'll appreciate and be grateful for anything different (and more Blaze please, missed it last time...lol) our favourite songs are not necessarily anyone elses - and without the "hits", which we're all so happy to say we're bored with - would any of us have gotten into Jovi in the first place?????

Of course, as fans, we'd like a different set-list, but so many people are now sounding so utterly bored that they mas as well not go and give someone else their spot. Go and see Bruce if he's that great (personally, downloaded the dublin show and didn't like it at all, though I will admit I had a great time at the Stone Pony listening party for The Rising a few years back), I'll stick with the boys who'll blow me away every time.

Man, the question was what type of tour is expected, so I answered.

And why would I care about some new fans!? I pay a shitload of money for a concert ticket, so I want a good show for it; a show in which BJ is giving their best, especially concerning also playing a lot of the latest songs.

The biggest part of the crowd consists of long-time fans, so BJ should keep that in mind if they want to please the audience. They can make more effort concerning that, and they shouldn't rely so damn much on the old stuff.

Well, I remember on the Bounce tour at Glasgow, they played a lot of new stuff from the Bounce album, and man, for the first half of that concert it was the worst Jovi show I'd seen. Not because I didn't dig the songs, but the majority of the crowd were not into it at all. The atmosphere was just like my favourite band had died there on stage. Then, when they started playing the hits....the gig came alive again. I do have to say though, the new songs from HAND went down a storm last time, so maybe it is just the Bounce songs.... (though if they'd played more than the few they did, that might have changed too.)

I wouldn't mind hearing a lot of the new songs personally, but I think your estimation of what makes up a crowd at a Jovi show is completely wrong. I think they're selling out stadiums because people want to hear Prayer/Bad Name etc, etc. It is the die-hard fans who want something that bit different, and I maybe wrong, but I think we're in the minority.

I'm just annoyed with so many people sounding so damn bored of this band. You're entitled to be, sure, but if you are that bored of them, why bother even going?

Agreed. Or Knebworth. Something a bit different really.
