Default What will be the Next Dry County?

Ok so for years we all wanted to see the return of DC which we got on the last tour. So what for the next?? A fans favourite which we have a realistic chance of hearing.....I reckon This aint a love song, esp as it will be on the greatest hits.

I could see them pulling TAALS out. I could also see them bringing back "99 in the shade" like they did in 2001 with Raise your hands. I've love to hear them do 99 in the shade again.

I would love to see Let It Rock in the set again. But if they just play Always in the original version again, I would be more than happy.

Maybe a more realistic suggestion is... One Wild Night? It wouldn´t be like the return of DC (nothing would), but it would be nice.

Yeah, I said ages ago that I reckon it will be TAALS ... I just hope it doesn't mean they retire Dry County again! I still haven't seen it live!

If we were going for even earlier, I'd imagine one of the album tracks from NJ ... Homebound Train perhaps, although I don't know if it'd have the same impact with Jon's voice not in as good shape as it was

Wild Is The Wind was played once or twice on the last couple of tours (I think) .... Richie used to play Stranger, but apparently it never went down too well with most of the crowd

As Emil said - nothing would be like the return of Dry County. I saw a pile of shows last tour and I only got to hear it once. I think they could get a little more mileage out of it yet - especially with the whole western/country theme that is being emphasized.

I'd love to hear TAALS and I think Jon could still sing it - perhaps tuned down a bit. I'd also love to hear Let it Rock but I don't know if they will pull that one out - they might think they are too old for some of those lyrics LOL.

I think for me it would. Although DC was fantastic to hear live for the first time, it has never been one of my fave songs, I kinda just got carried along with it all. For me the return of a song like Love Song, Good Guys, Damned, Something to Believe in or I BElieve would mean more. To me anyhow.

I know this song gets alot of play (at least until Bounce it did)
But if thy tour next year, for GH2, and coinciding with the 20th anny of New Jersey, wouldn't it be cool if they reinstated Lay Your Hands on Me as the opener? Of course I'd like to hear it anywhere....

These Days maybe, but I think that was played on the last tour as well.

I really hope TAALS won't return - it's among the weakest BJ ballads ever. I'd LOVE to have IIWYM back, even though I doubt it'd fit a 2000+ BJ show. But who knows...
