What will Richie sing during the GH Tour ?

seriously though, i'm tired of IBTFY quite honestly, don't like him doing LYHOM either.
i would love to see him do Wanted, the whole thing. if not then HT as i've never seen him doing that.

IBTFU is Jon's song period. I'd rather Richie sing Homebound Train. Stranger just sends people to get beer and go to the bathroom. I liked when he did These Days but want to hear Jon on lead vocal. How about letting Dave sing something.

I think Jon doesn't order this or that maybe but suggests and at the end Jon has the final word like for everything ... so all in all it's Jon who decide..I don't think it is Richie who wanted to do Lay Your Hands On Me over Homebound Train .... LYHOM is boring sung by Richie he deserves a better song IMO

I love IBTFY from Richie but I'd love him to do his solo stuff and if he doesn't it's probably because Jon is not ok with it .... isn't it Jon who decides if Dave can sing a verse on ITA or not etc ? ...

Pretty sure Richie stuck to doing Lay your hands on me basically because of crowd reaction during it. It's a hit, Homebound Train isn't, Stranger isn't either, IBTFY was hence why it got such a great response from the crowd and Richie kept doing it. Does Jon decide the set list? Of course he does, he's the one that makes the whole thing. Does Richie have a say if he wants to do one song or the other (since he's basically going back and forth between two), I'd venture to say yes, and he goes back to the safe and reliable choice.....

Even when Jon had those amazing raspy vocals in the 80s, Richie's 'Have A Nice Day' tour performance, for example, still hammered it. Richie's voice destroys Jon's on this one and the outro solo is just absolutely stunning.

However, Richie wrecked 'These Days' (not neccesarily his fault, just didn't work), so hopefully that's gone forever.

Richie's voice is beautiful on IBTFY but I prefer Jon.

I thought I had heard that Richie does get to choose the song. However I am sure he is aware that for many at the show Richie singing is time for a beer and bathroom break. It must suck to see people get up and leave or sit down and have a chat amongst themselves whilst you are singing.

I am guessing both Jon and Richie would agree on what song he sings. Id love to hear Ballad of Youth but I don't think thats going to happen.

I think it´s the perfect song for him ... and considering he did Homebound train (which was completely dropped from the band´s live catalogue) , I think it´s an option ...

I would prefer he did one of his solo songs but since that always sends people to the beer stands and bathroom, I don't look for it. I prefer Jon singing any Bon Jovi song to Richie's versions. I think he's likely to stick to a song like LYHOM or another Jovi song because they're more likely to keep the audience in the room. It might be fun if he pulled out a cover song though, something well known that would resonate with the audience.
