He should stick to Homebound Train.

Didn't mean to sound rude in the way I said that, by the way.

I agree Jon can give 'I'll Be There For You' a brilliant twist and it's nice to hear him do it this tour, but I am a strong believer in Richie's version. It just hits me more, I think.

i think so too. Richie definitely adds something special to IBTFY when he sings it. his bluesy style and those turns in his voice suit the song perfectly. i don't mind Jon doing it at all, but i much rather see Richie sing that one.

I hope LYHOM will sing Jon and Richie...Homebound train would be great but I think itīll be IBTFY.

I agree with you totally .. I know many fans think that anything bon jovi is mandatory meaning JON singing but it is a mistake ..I love Jon version the original version of IBTFY but the Richie style is just PERFECT for the song so much deeper ... way better than Jon's ...now this said there are plenty of great songs Richie could sing perfectly bon jovi songs richie own songs or even covers .... I just think that LYHOM is reducing Richie to a potty break prelude entertainer MORE than ever because the song has nothing spectacular in it.
I also think the Richie song is not meant only as a RICHIE time 100%, but also as a Jon few minutes time off , to change his wardrobe and dry his hair ...It smells the filler with LYHOM...

Richie's rendition is great in it's own bluesy way from how Jon would normally sing it but it wore out it's welcome. It was pretty much a mainstay from 2003-2008 minus the few arena shows in 2005.

Anyway, I'd rather it be Jon on lead vocals right now with Richie on Homebound Train.

I thought Richie's renditions of These Days was dire at best. I can't even remember one performance of it that really stands out above the others. It was just not good.

Aloha !

Richie shouldn't sing anything. If he's not allowed to sing on the albums then why should he be allowed to sing on a live show?

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan
