Whats all this pit bollocks?

If your not in the BJ fan club you will more than likely not be in the first 10 rows...let alone the first 3....altho considerin how massive the places are there playin...being like 10-30 rows back really would be awesome....

Even though when we purchased the GC tickets (going way back when we were all excited about Wembley) I'm sure I read somewhere it would get us within the first 10 rows. Arseholes will charge us that much money for nothing.

I had gold circle tickets (or whatever they were called then) at Old Trafford for the Bounce tour and they just gave you the wristband as you went in, why change the system ?

The stupid thing was though when I went for a piss and tried to get back in they wanted to see my ticket. They were insistent even though I had a wristband, what's the point of them if you need to show your ticket anyway? I had to lead the security guy all the way back to my position where I'd left my bag.

Let's hope they get it right for the rest of the shows.

i know i had the unfortunate experience of encountering a couple at CD:UK - its not my fault im short n they told me to go to the front and i hadnt even been 'queing for 8 hours' grrrrrrrr

i can see whats happened now andi has explained it. basically they the secuirty in dublin didnt have a damn clue. id be so pissed off if that had happened to me (unless i got the spot andi did) but its the secuirty at croke parks fault they just didnt know what they were doing. im sure it will be ok everywhere else.

Sorry but I gotta defend myself and some others here. We are not ALL like those backstagers you have already encountered. I do agree that there are backstagers who are truly horrible people but not all of us are. Some of us pay $40 for that wristband and the chance to get in first. And thats it! I am one of those people. Yes I pay $40 and its my choice. But I pay for that privaledge so I want to get a good spot as close as I can to the stage. I know sometimes if you queue early enough you might get into the pit but I wont take that chance of not getting in. Even though I am an FC member, at the Dublin show there were about 6/7 rows of people in front of me.

I am a fanclub member and join for the tours to get a good view etc, i am in no way the same as a backstager as you so put it and i certainly dont start fights with any other people in the que or put peoples noses out of joint, theres really no point. So really dont brand us all the same.

I have been on the barrier previous years due to being a member of the fc but theres really no point when you have the die hards now that que from 10am the day before.

If you want a decent view get there as early as possible and in the right que you'll be allowed in the correct section your ticket entitles you to be in.
