Whats all this pit bollocks?

What was said in the Dublin thread and the chaos with the wristbands was not about the generel audience but fanclub. I guess the generel audience get their wristband at the entrance of the GC.

LittleLaura, chances if you are not a fanclub member to get 3rd row are very low since fanclub comes first. We pay for the early entrance. It has nothing to do with fairness, everyone can join and pay the 40 Dollars to get the same priviledge. The early entrance is in fact the only priviledge that we still have, at least in most countries because of the Golden Circle-tickets that are sold.

The GC has nothing to do with the fanclub but is there for security reasons by the way. It has to be at every concert in a stadium, not only BJ. It's just that BJ's management now found out that they can make some extra bucks with selling extra tickets for this area.

I thought you can't join anymore? or is there another way to join? I'd still like to!!!!

Its nothing to do with Fanclub, backstagers or anything else. If someone has qued from stupid o clock in the morning then why should you or anyone else come and push in front of everyone when you get there in the afternoon??!! The only place you get away with that is Oasis - and thats cos all the people who push in are pissed or stoned. I know many people who wont see Oasis becos of that, id take the Bon Jovi crowd anyday.

Only the online joining didn't work but I know several people who sent in their money cash and got accepted.

But now it's too late anyway, the membership needs up to 6 weeks to proceed so the tour is over when you get your membership card.

I think the situation is different for the british shows than the rest of europe.

Looking at the pics from dublin, I think that the ramp/eliptical stage is within the GC, it is not the boundary of it. The barricade behind that looks to be the edge of the GC, as this looks about the same size as the GC on the Bounce tour.

It looks as though having GC tickets guarantees you will be in front of the GA/GC barricade but you will not necessarily be inside the ramp/eliptical stage. It looks like a first come first served basis to get inside the ramp.

In the European shows there seems to only be the eliptical stage/ramp, whereas in the UK the seems to be an additional barrier (the GC)

I got that at wolves. Some woman didn't let me past. I was showing her my number & she was like "Don't care etc...." I'd been there from 11 the night before! Did she think I just went & wrote a number on my hand?? Plus I was a mess - unshaven etc.. I looked like I'd spent the night sleeping rough.

Getting back to the front row after we'd been on stage was more fun. I was with Choc. Always good to have a German girl with you when you want to get somewhere. She just barged everyone out of the way. Admittedly I bore the consequence of people taking retaliation, but got us back to our place no probs.

hahahaha sounds like a good person to have with you. I always seem to get people pushing in front of me cause i look like an easy target but this year - not happening I'm jus 5 ruddy feet tall, they can easily see over my head why they feel the need to barge me out of the way n park their six foot high up heads right in my eyeline i'll never know!!
