Default What's with Richie's setlists ?!?!

k, so what's the deal with Richie's setlists ?! no songs from his debut ?! DLBIA by Oasis, a band that utterly despises Bon Jovi ? Lol.15-17 songs ?! What a rip off.

15-17 songs is completely normal for most gigs. Note that a lot of the songs he plays are extended to almost 10 minutes. Unfortunately one of the songs that is extended to 10 minutes is Sugar Daddy.

Also, there's 1 song played from his debut, don't know where you're getting "no" songs from. And the Oasis thing has been discussed to death. But thank you again, for your insight on that.

I have no problem with the length. And I hardly see the point in creating a topic on this on its own. What the problem is too many songs from the new album/ Bon Jovi songs and not enough older songs.

He did ONE Oasis song. You're basing this argument on 1 setlist out of 3? Really?

Yeah, this. Bon Jovi played an average of 17 songs on the first leg of the Keep The Faith tour and I doubt many people had a problem with it considering the song choice back then. The second Richie show lasted close to two hours. The only downside really is too much new material and not enough focus on his entire solo career. Based upon the crowd reactions to Stranger, Hard Times and Fallen From Graceland I'm quite sure he could've done a few more of his older records as opposed to another rendition of Wanted and an unnessesary rendition of Who Says.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Who Says and Sugar Daddy combined from Night 1 is almost a full 20 minutes of material. If played with little add ons, that's up to 4 songs from Stanger/US that could have replaced Sugar Daddy and Who Says.

Berlin show was amazing. It lasted 2h 20min. Two songs from Stranger, two from Undiscovered Soul and eight from Aftermath....+ some covers. Brilliant set. Amazing gig, cannot say anything bad about the gig....
