I think that, at least, the cd is coming, because that statement was said by bonjovi.com in the January Update. They still say "spring" when they talk about its release. Taking that for granted, we could assume a tour will follow, as I dont think they'll wait until summer'06 to tour an album that was released more than a year ago...that's just my opinion though...I agree with all of you, it's strange we dont have more information by now...tracklisting, first single info...and I think that the album should have a name by now!

I really think this new album will be delayed too....so the new tour will be 2006. Makes more sense. It takes way too ong before they announce anything.

Ok guys breathe it's ok I swear to you. LOL

Just be patient. I know it's hard, but maybe there is some delay with the artwork or something. They are saying a May release so I am sure tour dates will be released shortly thereafter.

I am just as strung out as you guys, I am waiting on a new baby in the summer and I would like to know which country they will be in so I can plan this out somewhat. as you know babies come when they feel like it and I would like to make sure, my local tour dates won't be when I am in the hospital recouping. Gimme 2 weeks and I will go....LOL

I am sure after the release we will find out what took so long to release it. They aren't saying right now, because they are going upon the assumption as someone said above, "NO NEWS IS GOOD NEWS"

Bear in mind, with Bounce, the tour (At least the European tour) wasn't announced until two months after the release of the CD, so we've got plenty of time yet

I agree with Inge here .. and with you too .. not that we won't get a cd at all we will but it might be delayed to make the tour coming with the cd more logic ... but all the ppl making projects for 2005 may have some surprises ... if the cd is out in spring then the forst single should be heard soon on the radio and then the tour even if not announced should also be in process .. as we know now .. nothing is in process ... if the cd is out in spring then the tour announced 2 months after the cd is out (it is usually not that late ) then you have to add time to fill the venues and sell the tickets .. 4/6 months ... so may + 6 months it's november .. I would have love to see Jovi during the summer 2005 .... as european ... it's gonna be then ... summer 2006 with a cd out in spring 2005 this is quite a long while ...

I think we don't know much and I KNOW we cannot do anything but it sucks I had a lil amont of money for Jovi ... I will use it for others then I won't have anymore Jovi money in 2006 unless i don't do anything until they do something ...

I've just been looking at the archives of this messageboard ... We didn't find out a tracklisting for Bounce, nor heard the first single until about 2 months before the album release. We didn't find out any tour dates at all until a couple of weeks after the release of the album. So I don't quite see why everyone's getting so agitated this time round, solid album news isn't due for about another month, and tour dates for another 4 or so months if you go by that timescale

I think we can compare this new release with the release of Crush - may, 29th 2000 - or these days - june, 19th 1995. In both situations the tour was announced earlier than february that year - at least I think so. So I think something odd is happening, since I dont believe in a Winter tour in Europe - they have done that in the past but in pavillions which I think won't happen. So either august/september 2005 - like in 2000 - or may/june2006 - like 2001/03. As to the american shows, I believe in a Fall tour - like in 2000 - since they use to play in pavillions in the States - they did it in recent tours - 2000/01/03.

I hope they tour both in 2005 and 2006 in Europe like they did in 95/96 :s

Let's wait and see

It seems like, in my concert experiences, tickets for shows go on sale about 2 months prior to the concert date and dates aren't announced much in advance of the sale date. So, if the CD doesn't come out until May, even if they plan to be touring the day it's released (which isn't likely because they'll be doing other promotional work), we won't be hearing any concert dates for another month or so.

I checked when the tour dates were announced in 2000 and realised they were announced on March, the 25th - it was the first bach of dates, which included only 1 show at wembley for example.

So I guess there's no need to concern and think they won't tour in Europe this year.

IMP their schedule will be very similar to what happened in 2000, so no tour dates being revealed until the end of march is very likely to happen (again).

I like this info very much ...though i don't recall very well if on marche 25th it was dates announced or tickets going on sale .. there is always a little time between announced dates and tickets on sale .. I am pretty sure I heard the dates were announced earlier than march (something like january) but I might be wrong .. if so I apologize
