They are usually given out in contests of radio stations, magazines and stuff like this. You should listen to the radio a lot when the tour comes near. Is there a radio station that sponsors the show you are going to? If so, there's a big chance that they make contests for on-stage-tickets.

A friend of mine was lucky to buy them from a girl for 600 guildens that's about 275 euro's. She danced with Jon!
An other friend of mine was picked out of the public. He enjoyed it but said to me afterwards the first row is much better!

I think when you're on stage, you can't see everything ... it's a shame, maybe you could have a chance to "dance with Jon - or wathever", but i prefer to be close to the stage and don't miss anything

Same here. Two friends of mine had on-stage-tickets in 2000 in Zurich. They were told to be at a specific meeting point around the middle of the concert (no specific time was given). They were in the second group and had to wait backstage until it's their turn. So they missed a lot of the concert. Both said they wouldn't want on-stage-tickets again because of this.

When my student won her passes to be on the stage, she was only on stage for a couple of songs. They kept changing the people in the pit onstage. It was kind of a rip off because the radio station made it seem like you are up there for the entire show. Plus, he didn't dance with anyone and the was the whole promo. for the contest.
