Manchester for me, been there on the last two tours as well as MK Bowl and Twickenham but they definitely put a lot more effort into the Manchester shows.

I am one who loves germany shows but I think you cannot say for sure which show will be th best so (as I can) I do them all to not take any risk... stuttgart 2006 was fantastic Mannheim 2003 was great ...frankfurt 2008 ...hamburg 2008 ... munich is always a very good long show a safe one to pick up but not always the best (but Munich 2003 was outstandingIMO)

dublin is like munich you don't take any risk but it's not the best show guaranty neither .... amsterdam is the same

in UK Manchester is always VERY GOOD and Jon loves Manchester ...In 2006 when he signed my manchester ticket he mentionned that THAT show was great

You must be one of those fans that tour with the band,

So, if you do them all do you get a special discount or something, LOL

I've never been to a concert in Europe, but I have a healthy collection of "unofficial" concerts in DVD, so from that perspective I think I can have an opinion and I totally agree with you.

I'm considering crossing the pond for some shows for the first time, so I definitely need advice on the best ones.

I tour with the band ? well I follow the bon jovi dates in europe so I tour with them yes but it is rather confusing wording ...
I don't have a special discount in any way ... I never even got a setlist even if I ask for it ... I see any one from the crew guy with a setlist (obie rew or fuzesi ) and I politely ask can I have one they look at me like 'who do you think you are ? " and handle it to the someone else ..so no no any form of discount or special treatment ... I don't search for that neither ...

Since 2003, I make sure to see them in Munich, the nights there are always long and special, with references by Jon about the great concerts they have played there in the past, which males it even more obvious that he loves to perform there.

The 2003 there was just outstanding, 2006 had a long epic set but couldn't hold up to the magic, 2008 was catching up again. But I think it's safte to say that most german shows get similar treatments. But if they go for an extra mile, it'll be Munich.

My friend used to follow them around Germany and was usually really impressed by the shows but then again, she saw them live during the KTF and TD era!
