I liked Milton Keynes in 06 (first night) too, and bristol in 08 had a very nice setlist, but dublin night 2 this year was the best I've had I think, without a doubt. Even though they didn't play Crash and there was no richie song ;P

Lay Your Hands On Me
Love For Sale x2
Dry County x2
In These Arms x2
Captain Crash
These Days
Always x2
Bounce
Happy Now
Damned
Never Say Goodbye
Hey God

And I know some of those aren't rare songs at all but they're songs I wanted to hear, and that's a pretty good output for 3 shows.
Setlist..???

I thought you went away.

People are posting these shows because they had excellent performance AND good setlists.

1. Wembley 2000 - last show at the old place. Amazing crowd, Great beer and warm sunshine. Brilliant way to end the era of Wembley

2. MK Bowl 1996. My first show, 15 years old. Blew me away, remember the bass from the sound nearly ruptured my insides

3. Hyde Park 2003. They played for a heck of a long time, way past the curfew and Ray Davies came on too
....setlist...

How exactly is a setlist not a factor in choosing the best show one's been to?

You take the piss out of people enjoying a show because of the setlist and then you come out with lines such as 'I enjoyed the show because of the beer, the time the band played till and the weather'?

Let me tell you; the taste of the beer does not equal a good show. The weather conditions does not equal a good show and a long show does not equal a good show either. You really have no clue what-so-ever! I rest my case!

I can't tell you how delighted that statement makes me

I'm teasing of course, but it is a very obvious statement. I am someone who drinks moderately, but NEVER drinks alcohol at a show at all. I refuse to miss even 1 minute of music to hit the bathroom. Unfortunately, many other fans seem to feel that the more alcohol the better and I don't see how you can really appreciate the show under those circumstances.

What is your problem with me? I give an opinion and try to turn a new leaf and there you are again. Either leave me alone or go jump in the Mersey. For me Wembley was the whole occasion. Went with my college mates who initially despised Bon Jovi and came out loving the band. The cold beer and sunshine was a factor, but I had just got my a-levels, we were all on a high, the band were on fire and it's Wembley...oh yeah sorry. Everton's record at Wembley bar the Man Utd win is shite.

Do me a favour Kev. If u ain't got anything constructive to say about me dont say it at all
