What a silly exaggeration!
I don't know what silly about it. I did travel over 1200 miles (round trip) through 4 states to go to a show in St. Louis. I have a friend in NY who will see them 5 times in NJ this year, plus twice in Philly and sleep in her own bed after each show. The POINT of my post, which you missed, is that you can't make a quantitative judgement on the "bigness" of a fan based on how many shows they see. The idea of doing THAT is what is silly.

I am from Europe Penrose and I can tell you that the distances here are much bigger.

I would do it if I could take a month off from work because the gas prices are cheap here... But boss says no.

I did 6 shows in 2000 and 6 in 2001 and I went 2 times to London in September of 2002 just to see Bon Jovi. Some called me crazy, others just laught.

Now in 2003 I will see them 9 times.

But all this won't make me a bigger fan then anyone who is just able to see them once or even never have seen them live.
Bon Jovi is for me a way of live and I think everybody that is spending money on them is a fan!

How many concerts you go to isn't the only indicator of how big a fan you are........I have to fly over to Japan to see one f***ing full show! But does that make me less a fan than someone who can drive to three shows from their hometown?? Not necessarily.

i'd like to point out the difference between

"biggest fan" and "richest fan with a lot of free time"

the biggest fan for me is not someone who collects all the singles or goes to all the shows to be at the front

but goes to shows just to see/hear them, regardless of where they are seated/stood

there are so many on here who are bigger fans than me (and richer) but i can't think of anyone i've ever heard of who does whole European tours who does not always report back saying how they were in the 2nd row or on the barrier

Thanx kevin, but all this put me back on my feet,
I am just 21 years old and have seen a lot jovi show, traveld half europe just 2 see them. I can call myself a very lucky girl I think.
But I am not going to judge someone that's not able to do that! And I think it all goes back to respect for eachother!
