Well a lot of people are paying an ****load of money and they can expect something good and special about it. Not only the regular stuff. If you are easy to satisfy that's fine with me but i am not.

well said Thierry

He's going to 6 shows on the tour, I'm only going to 2 but it's costing me a fortune and money i don't have

i don't have to be grateful to the band for anything else other than the music

Exactly they need to give 100% and something special, they should play if they are wanted dead or alive.

U know - I was planning my tour tonite & my mum goes.... "But surely your just gonna see the same concert again & again????"... It took me a while to think up a good reply. As it is nearly true at the moment....

All I ask for is something to make your concert special, in the form of rarely played songs... not a whole concert - just a few... or to keep the ppl going to many concerts & spending amounts of cash interested.

I wanna be surprised & not be able to word for word shout the speeches Jons gonna do.

At Capital FM - I had an awesome time, but had a wry roll of the eyes at the End of Bad Medicine:

I've gotta go
Bye Seeyah

I said WAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaiiiiiiiiiiiiiiittttttttttttttttttt tttt

Help me baby
dum, dum, dum, dum .......

U know u make me wanna.......

Unfortunately I sang this along with Jon...... (apart from the Waaaaaaaaiiiiiiiiiiittttttt bit Lol). Just a bit of imagination & variety to make those ticket prices worthwhile. I don't wanna see an expensive re-run.

Mike

my mum said that in 1998/99 planning for the next tour:

and i said "BJ aren't like most bands, they switch the sets around every night, and jon only writes it usually 30 mins before the gig"

****ing JBJ propaganda...

that's all they ever tell the newspapers and in interviews...

it's completely false...

it happened a little in NJ tour and then only the odd time since

They do what the majority of the crowd wants, not what w*nkers like you want. Go to a concert where they play nothing the general fans have heard of
Well from the looks of it, from the responses on this board at least, us w*nkers are in the majority. Like Thierry said, we pay a lot of money to see a high quality show and if they play the same old stuff they always play I think we have a right to be somewhat disappointed, don't you! And if they play some older material and the fans haven't heard it the I think that says something about those fans doesn't it. Surely BJ should play for the people who put them where they are today and not the people who've heard that song..........................what's it called?....................Oh yeah, Livin on a Prayer!!!!

Don't get me wrong, I like the classics too, but they sacrifice hundreds of other brilliant tracks to play just a few regular ones that, to be honest, people are obviously getting a little bit sick of! If I wanted to listen to a predictable BJ concert, I'd stick my live CD in the CD player and save myself £40 - so I, and a lot of others, expect something a little different than the re-run we keep getting when we go and see them in the flesh! Surely they must get sick of playing the same old songs too!
