I would like to see an Arena show in the UK. Why not have the floor all standing, like Bryan Adams still does on all his UK Arena Gigs. That way the die hard fans can still get to the front and the queueing isn't quite as bad as the Open air stadiums. Even if your at the front for those, you can still get out for a toilet break up until about 1/2 hour from showtime.

I'd like to see a return to arena shows- the atmosphere at the O2 was amazing, much better than any other outdoor/stadium gig I've been to. I just feel that something is lost in a larger, more 'open' venue. Also, as Becky mentioned, getting soaked and being ill at a gig is the worst

I prefer open air. Not necessarly stadiums, there are small open air venues. Just last week I saw REM at Loreley which is an amphi theatre for 15.000 people but still open air.

I've seen two Jovi shows. One indoor(Crush-tour) and one stadium(LH-tour). And the next show I'm hoping to see is some indoor gig. Even though that stadium show was better than indoor it wasn't what I expected. Maybe because all that I could think was Wembley 95....
So if they keep going on with the same style I really wanna see them in indoor venue...but if in some reason they wanna do those 3 and half hour shows with mixture of some rare songs again, I'll be there with my 44 000 friends...again.

Richie's tour (if it happens) would no no doubt be of theatres (or small venue's) i doubt he could fill an arena on his own.

Anyway i love the stadium gigs , the atmosphere is amazing but i suppose it would be a lot more intense in an arena and obviously better sound.

Well there isn't a decent arena in Perth so that wouldn't help me out. Come to think of it, there isn't a decent stadium either.

Regal Theatre's not a bad little venue though.

I wonder if anybody has ever been to a UK arena before
Yeah the 02 is great, really great. But what about the rest? The NEC, Wembley Arena, MEN Arena etc; for the most part they are soul-less, cold, cavernous spaces with (in most cases) terrible sound.

I'd rather just have LESS stadium shows for the UK.
ie. just do Manchester/Cardiff/somewhere in the Midlands (Cov/Wolves)/London. The other, more minor, shows (eg. Bristol/Hull) that we've been getting on the last few tours are un-neccessary in my opinion.
Surely 4 totally sold-out stadiums is better than 6-7 half-empty ones?

That's a good point, anyway I can't see them going back to arena shows TBH.
