Mike - have you seen them live? no pun intended!

I cant see how anyone can say a band doesn't rock if they haven't seen them live.

it would be amazing if scorpions played uk.....

and yeah it should really be someone we've at least heard of...
uk people dont as a rule know who live are, myself included...
there are loads of bands who could do it.. that way people would be psyched that they know who they are nd can at least warm up with them..
i have a certain amount of sympathy for them tho, as theyre going to get a very frosty reception i think... noone will know htem so they have very little time to impress the people, and get them going as 99.8% off the peopel there will be there to see bon jovi, and couldnt give two shakes about a band they have never heard of.....

I disagree. give them a chance to prove themselves!
Matchbox twenty went down like a lead balloon in glasgow in 2001 but I knew they rocked coz i had seen em in '98 at the London Astoria!
But in dublin they came into their own and got their confidence up and then rocked us through the rest of the UK gigs!
