Who's Goin' to Toronto!?!?!?!--let's have a fan meeting!!!!!

I tried sorting something like this in february but had a poor response.....hopefully with nicer weather more of you guys will be up for a beer before the show.

Why should all the europeans get to have all the fun of meeting each other and relishing the company of other hardcore fans....lets get with it and say hello. :P

Come on people, don't be shy. A large amount of beer and a little conversation can't sound like a bad idea.

Thaks for the replies guys, but....so far, all I can say is 'DISAPPOINTED".

It seems as though the European fans seem to have an upper hand as far as social gatherings.

I, for one, am here in Nova Scotia, wishing I could go to your get together, as that would mean that I was going to a concert. But no such luck.

First I had no job, which meant no money for travelling to TO. Now I have a job and money but no chance of flying to TO on a Thursday night and being back home on Friday morning for work. So unless you have a plane I can borrow, and tickets to the concert, I won't be at your get together.

Might I suggest you check out the - ahem - Backstage board. I know there are at least 3 Torontonians there, so maybe you can join up with some of them.

A nolble duggestion diane except for the fact that I have been banned from the board for no apparent reason.

I e-mailed the moderators a few times and just gave up---I was hardly a regular over there and can live without it. If someone else could post this idea over there on my behalf that would be great--but there's no chance of me posting it on backstage.

Cheers people.....I'll PM those who've replied with interest closer to the date so we can try to figure out specifics.

Backstage won't allow us to post anything related to organizing events like this before a concert. I don't know why though. I don't see what the problem is in doing so.
