I can't see it happening. There's a risk it could go wrong which means no chances to do it again somewhere else. Further on, if Jon would decide to record a DVD he'd have done it in the UK or one of the other shows with one of the bigger crowds.

Personally i d really enjoy another dvd, the band is in top form right now. i dont think jon would choose uk, because in hrc they didnt have their own stage, i think the crowd is gonna be big, they must be expecting 60,000 people if i am not wrong, if there is no indication about a potential dvd how did this rumour came out? only because its the last show?
i think they should release at least a dvd per tour, especially now that they plan to take a break

Yes. There were rumours of a DVD in Chicago 2011 as well, that didn't happen either. With every tour rumours of a DVD shooting show up, but I think it won't happen at all. Seeing as to how many chances they've had of shooting a DVD this tour (4 shows at the New Meadowlands, the O2 shows, 2 shows in Chicago, Toronto, Chicago again, Dublin etc.) it's just not going to happen once again. Also, seeing as to how little promo they did for the DVD of the Lost Highway tour I don't think Jon particularly cares about a DVD recording.

Sebastiaan

I agree with supersonic .... the DVD rumours are out for almost every big show - it's easy to create a rumour .. you say I heard there will be a DVD and bam you have the rumour out ...
Pride and ego boost make the fans post their wishful thinking as a reliable rumour most of the time.
What would be the point to make a dvd ? The band is out of the picture for a little while they don't need a DVD to pay the rent nor to keep BON JOVi trendy. I think a DVD is not necessary for the band 'promo' if it's not necessary it's won't happen IMO.
And like Terri said I hope there won't be ANY official filming it would KILL the possible spontaneous part of that last show

For me so far the best shows were those with LESS fuss around them .. london munich dublin one and two were great setlist wise but to me not the best about the atmosphere (STILL they were great shows OF COURSE but ....)

i am afraid you are right but jon seems to prefer to capture the last shows of a tour, having said that i think the o2 had the most chances even if the crowd wasnt sth to be remembered. the helicopter shots showed that they captured nms, even if i dont think its the highlight of the tour, performance and crowd wise respectively

Waving to ~ Jovimimi ~ ~ ~

Since I'm still attending Bon Jovi University ~ I have no idea if the rumor could be true or not but I have an idea that will probably never come to fruition, but it's an idea, nonetheless.

I wish that the band would put out a DVD from this European leg that features some of the band's songs, being performed at their best, regardless of the audience.

They could put little interview sections between a few of the songs or at the beginning and/or at the end ...

Like I said, just an idea, probably not a good one.

ETA: I hope that everyone that is going, to this show, has the time of their life !!!

there are live dvds out there around the same idea, and its sth i would enjoy if they decided to invest time and money in it but its sth that wont happen. i dont think they use the dvds as promo, if so they should have released sth much earlier, like u2 for example, i realize there are few chances for a live dvd but there is still time. i believe they will release sth next year even if they will be in a break so a dvd is an option.
i agree about the spontaneity but a live recording-a nice set-the last show of a tour and an enthousiastic crowd are more than enough reasons for a hell of a performance, and it will be a document for us to watch again and again. anyway we can still hope, and since sky is the limit they may as well choose athens for the footage!!!!tha crowd will be huge, the anticipation great, the venue top notch...someone can dream...
anyway, maybe they add a final leg and the last show buzz doesnt materialize.
