Default Why are MSG tiks higher?

I don't understand why MSG & Pru floor tiks cost $304.50 and all the other shows cost around $130.00?

It's like I can't even go see them anymore. Way too steep! Who wants 2nd tier when you are used to the floor! Why can't they price them like the other shows? For example, Boston, $129.00 and MI 132.00 Floor.
What's the reason for such a high price in the NY/NJ area?

I just want to be able to fight for good seats with everyone else. At that price, it's just out of alot of die hard fans budgets. I wish they would make the prices the same as the other shows or just lower.

Forgive me with this post. I just want to go see them and not have to spend all that money.

Well I don't remember the previous tours where the last shows prices were jumped up, but I think thats exactly what it has to do with they are the last shows of the tour. Either that or its MSG that jumped the price up for some reason because they knoew people will still buy the tickets and thats exactly what they did as both shows are sold out.

Look in their eyes Mom you'll see me."

A high rent venue like MSG usually (not always) elicits higher ticket prices. And, I believe MSG has less "floor space" for concerts than newer arenas.
Oh and for the record, the other areas (you know, where us bums sit) aren't that much if any more expensive than other shows.

The reason the prices go up is simply because they know they can put them up and still sell out. The fact that they're only relatively small dates compared to Giants - which they can sell out multiple nights - means that the demand will always be there.
