Why do bands tour during exam times!!!

it's very annoying...

My exams are roughly 25-27th June... which means I won't be able to go to the Manchester show it seems!!! not without spending a lot on the trains anyway and being very stressed and not revising...

in 1 week they decide to do my exams, 2 x bon jovi shows and deep purple and lynrd skynrd... now this!!!

Very annoying - sorry for posting this here - but the "ranting" section has not been setup yet and it is sort of tour related, since i may be offering a gold standing ticket at face value nearer the time...

I know what you mean. I didn't know when the concert here would be when I bought the tickets. Now since last wednesday I know when the exams will be and I don't write one in the week after the concert (I will be at home anytime monday morning and then I should stand up at 6). Believe me, I'm damn happy about that but a friend who also goes to the concert writes an exam. She's gonna pretend that she's ill and ask for another date to write it.

Ok, that's real s***. We don't have this problem here as 5 points (the minimum for passing it) is not that difficult to reach. And I also think of staying at home that monday. It's senseless to go to school. I would fall asleep there (not only because of the long night before )

Heh heh, my exams are all over and done with by June 20th! Look out Hyde Park, here I come!

but fortunately my exams are just in between all the MB20 and BJ concerts i won't be able to go to Bremen, Mannheim & Munich cos of exams, but i'll see them in Erfurt & Neumünster

one way or another i'll make sure i get to at least 1 of them...

i'll hopefully be able to make manchester - but i have to hope i have nothing on that friday...

they do this every year! even in 1996 - though the exams weren't important at all - it was the same story...

May/June are definitely the most popular touring times for the UK for all acts!

I'm sorry for you. A friend of mine is in the same situation and can't make the Germany tour. Thank God her exams are over before the tour in England starts so she at least can see them, even though she has to fly to another country.

Myne are all done by June 9th. (In 2001 they we'rent, and i ended up seeing BJ the day before a GCSE exam. which was in the MORNING!) got home 5am, DIDNT go to bed, and managed to pass.

so i get to go this year as well!!

Why ?
