What's the biggest city closest to you? They usually always go to Houston, Austin , or Dallas.

No, it was in Germany.

Its has nothing to do with the cities themselves and the amount of shows. It has everything to do with what is already discussed previously in this thread. It's clearly the differences in audiences that inspire the band to play rarities like Hey God and Wild Is the Wind.

I don't agree 100%. I think it has to do with both the audience and the place their at. Now I know Abu Dhabi got a pretty standard set, but you could tell from you tube videos that they were an amazing crowd as well as Australia so what gives with the sets. I truly think if they were at a city they knew they would probably never come back to they would give an amazing set there.

It's fact. It doesn't matter if you agree. What you don't understand is just because the crowds are enthusiastic like you claim Abu Dhabi was, they were enthusiastic because they got a hit heavy set. They knew the songs and therefore, they sang along. The same happens in the U.S. What you are neglecting is the quote the Tico said (and I know you know what he said since you quoted me) is that they can play a song like Hey God in Europe, and the crowd knows the entire song--chorus and verses to every song. That's the difference.

What more proof do you need when both Tico and Jon are on the record as saying almost the exact same thing about the differences in the crowds and they have been touring for quite some time.

So what exactly is the reason for the switch ups in Europe on this tour than last tour? Because their was nothing quite special on the last tour except for Dry County making a return. Did the crowds all of a sudden just change for this particular tour? I don't think so.

In general, they are mixing it up much better this tour. I will give you that. It still has nothing to do with the overall crowd difference. The HAND shows in the U.S. were about as stagnant as you can possibly get and when you compare them to the HAND European sets, the European sets were a lot better. Mind you better on the HAND tour. As I have said before, they are doing a better job of mixing things up in general, especially on the LH tour.

I went to the Dallas show and it rocked. I shouldn't complain about that show, because we got like 26 songs and a couple rare songs. Dallas is always a stellar show at least, unlike OK city which was bare minimum. I enjoy seeing the European setlist because of their variety which was lacking here. I mean, who would rather hear "I Love This Town" for an encore rather than "Livin in Sin" or "Wild is the Wind". Changes like that make shows special.
