Aloha !

It's because me and Thierry live and Europe, and me and Thierry rock. Yes that's right, me and Thierry, because I am the most important of the both of us.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

And yet they still didn't play your requests.

The UK don't get brilliant setlists or improvised versions of KTF or Sat Night!
We used to, but not since the 2003 tour I dont think. My memory is not what it was! LOL

I don't know when was the last time they did "Something to beleive in" over in the UK, but I do remember seeing them do that in Amsterdam and Munich on the last few tours.

The best show for me in long, long time was Munich 2003. Jon and the band were on fire and were throwing in curveballs left right and centre! The show was 3 hours plus and they just did not want to leave the stage. I haven't seen the band have that much enthusiasm and exightment in what they were doing since Wembley 1995!!!
I have yet to find any footage of that gig on youtube sadly, but I would love to re-live that show, it was totally amazing!

Well, he didn't have a pair of nice tits. That's the one department where Seb's seriously lacking substance.

There is nothing like a Giant's Stadium crowd, not European, not anything... Giant's Stadium is crazy, as is MSG. Listen to Prayer on YouTube, this performance blows any performance of prayer away easily.

Don't say Europe is better, or Jon and the band performs better over seas, because different shows provide different results. Just watch what happens on this last stint of the tour, it will be amazing.

* Oh and there were great setlists in the US before they went overseas. I saw three of the Prudential Center shows and I thought they were amazing!

Regards,

Jason F.

Aloha !

An average European crowd beats a Giants crowd right away. Easily. All this talk about Giants being so spectacular is a load of bullshit. Every fan from Europe that has seen Bon Jovi at Giants says that a European crowd pisses all over it.

Have you ever been to a Giant's Stadium gig? If not, than please don't open your big mouth because you have no idea what you are talking about. Giant's Stadium is full to capacity unlike most of the European shows. I watched them on YouTube and half of the general admission area was empty. For every European person that's went to Giant's Stadium to see Bon Jovi, 1000 other people will tell you that the show blows any away.

Awesome sets from Giant's Stadium, ones that I went to. Sold out, 60,000 +, no empty seats and louder than you can imagine.

Last Man Standing / You Give Love A Bad Name / Complicated / Born To Be My Baby / Story of My Life / Captain Crash & the Beauty Queen From Mars / I'll Sleep When I'm Dead / Runaway / The Radio Saved My Life Tonight / Just Older / In These Arms / Always / I'll Be There For You (electric, Richie on vocals) / Have A Nice Day / Who Says You Can't Go Home / Bad Medicine (Shout) / Raise Your Hands / Livin' On A Prayer

Encores: Dry County / Wanted Dead Or Alive / It's My Life / Blood On Blood / Keep the Faith / Someday I'll Be Saturday Night

Saturday Night's Alright For Righting (Elton John cover) / You Give Love A Bad Name / Complicated / Born To Be My Baby / Story of My Life / I'll Sleep When I'm Dead / Runaway / The Radio Saved My Life Tonight / Captain Crash & the Beauty Queen From Mars / In These Arms / Wildflower / I'll Be There For You (electric, Richie on vocals) / Undivided / Have A Nice Day / Who Says You Can't Go Home / Bad Medicine / Shout / Raise Your Hands / Livin' On A Prayer

Encore 1: I Am / It's My Life / Blood On Blood / Someday I'll Be Saturday Night / These Days
Encore 2: Wild Is the Wind / I'd Die For You / Wanted Dead Or Alive

* I am a Jersey guy, and have seen Bon Jovi at all of the major venues around the Tri State area.

European crowds are amazing, but they can't compete with Giant's Stadium sorry. Jersey people are loud to begin with, we don't shut up. Come to a show when he plays Giant's Stadium and you will see what I mean.

Regards,

Jason F.

Aloha !

I haven't, but Thierry has been there and I take his word for granted. We pretty much agree about everything when it comes to Bon Jovi. Also, there are several Jovitalkers that went to see the band at Giants stadium on the HAND tour, and saw the band live in Europe as well. They all said that an American crowd sucks compared to a European crowd.

The VH1 broadcast of One Wild Night live 2001 shows what I mean. You see people just standing there with their drink chatting during the chorus of Prayer. Something like that just doesn't happen in Europe. It just doesn't happen.

Have you ever been to a European show? A half packed stadium in Europe is still louder than anything your fantastic Giants crowd has come up with. For ****s sake, you sir, you make me tired. I can understand you being proud of your crowd, but we still take the piss out of you.

Jesus titty****ing christ.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Conversely have you ever been to a European show? If not, then please don't open your own big mouth because you have no idea what you are talking about.
