To get back to the beginning of this discussion, this is why I think BJ are overpriced and therefore tour for the money.
Other things that make me think this are the safe tour destinations and the fewer dates each tour.

It's called business. Demand and supply. If there is a demand for a brand name, the seller will sell it for as high a price as they can get away with ... the salesman isn't exactly going to sacrifice his own luxuries so everyone he sells to has an extra £20 in their pocket is he?

No, obviously. It's not what I'm asking for either.
Business has got be balanced with the artistic and popular side of Bon Jovi.
It's not.
If SOAD can make profit with a 50$ ticket for a sold out Bell Centre show in Montreal, why can't Bon Jovi? Does a 95$ ticket seem fair then?

That's like saying (and I appreciate that you don't live in the UK, so the analogy may be slightly lost on you) that a tin of Heinz baked beans should be the same price as a tin of Co-Op own brand

And $95 a ticket sounds very fair to me considering I paid roughly the equivalent of $145 for my Wembley ticket

I agree. It’s a ****ing disgrace that Jon with his 200 million us dollars has that high price.

Supply and demand is theory in micro economics, it very limited relevance in real life, especially nowadays when both supply and demand is controlled by the manufactures.

Maybe not the same price, but certainly not double price.

That's because you also pay for the opening of a great venue, and most probably a very special show. I understand the feeling though.

Still you're comparing BJ with BJ. To know if they're overpriced you need to compare with other bands.

I may have miscalculated that actually. Are we talking Canadain dollars? If so it was about $175

Yeah I was talking $CAD.
When your kids will ask you what a "rip off" is, you'll know what to tell.

Just to prove I have no life:

Heinz baked beans in tomato sauce, 4x415g = £1.60

Sainsburys Baked Beans in tomato sauce, 4x420g = £0.69

You even get more in each tin of the Sainsburys one! And its still less that half the price
