its the only thing that makes sense...

BJ have said Europe crowds know all the words, as Americans only know the verses (obviously not US JTers) so it would figure that they would play more rare songs to please Europeans who would know the songs and hated LH and also use them as a jury....

aha have we understood and broken the master plan

Whatever it is long may it continue ...

I just hope the crowds actually respond really well, to the right bloody songs.

perhaps we will be getting a greatest hits DVD....... featuring the old rarities, not many recordings of Stick to your guns.... so another one would be handy !

Okay, this is TOTAL and COMPLETE conjecture. Just the random thoughts of someone who has absolutely no inside knowledge but spends way too much time pondering things.

Could the difference possibly be because Richie is sober (assuming Richie is sober)? I wasn't around during the HAND tour, but it sounds like Richie was shit-faced for much of it. It figures that Jon had to do most of the heavy-lifting in that case. If Richie's in better shape this time around, and he certainly seems to be, it isn't all on Jon. And Richie seems like someone who might agitate to play some of the old stuff, too. He certainly seemed to know exactly what he was doing with STYG the other night.

Like I said, total conjecture, but I kind of hope this is part of it, because I hope Richie is hanging in there.

look, there's no way Jovi would do a farewell tour without announcing it in flashing lights so the whole world knows about it!!

I think they just got a kick up the ass from something.

Don't know what, but it's great!!!

They must be saving Tokyo Road, In and Out of Love, 99 in the Shade, etc for the real farewell tour! Man oh man, the very idea of that makes me a bit dizzy!

now wouldn't that be ironic...that jon's had to take the flack for the boring sets but it could actually be down to the usually infallible Richie??

Guess we'll never know.
