They just aren't big enough to sell stadiums throughout the country. Multilpe arenas, yes in MOST areas... but on the East Coast, they are big - but not that big. Toss in the AWFUL choice of single(s) and promotion... momentum was lost. No 'Novocaine', no 'Last Cigarette' no 'Any Other Day', etc. - ALL songs that could have given the band some credibility, but they give us CRAP that people (non BonJovi fans) laugh at, like We Got It Going On and I Love This Town. These SHENANIGANS keep up... they will be playing free shows... or just being a nostalgia act...

All I remember is that Bon Jovi sold more tickets for their July 2006 show than the Rolling Stones for the Foxboro show.

I will see if I can find an archived Billboard Boxscore but I remember the 3 Giants shows were shown as sold out with a capacity of 55,000 for each show or thereabouts.

I saw 4 sold out stadium shows on the east coast in 2006.

I think, I know why they don't play Boston - because it's a shithole .

It does but that's if there was seating all around the stage including the back which there was not.

I think you're not right anyway: As said here

http://www.meadowlands.com/giantsFacts.asp?navID=7

it holds 80.242.
At a concert the seats behind the stage are not sold BUT you have the people in the standing area( or seats ??) on the lawn. SO that it holds more people on the inside than when you sell the seats behind the stage. I think it even holds more than 80.000 at a concert!

But, capacity is what the promoter sets it at so.....that number doesn't necessarily equate to the number of seats that "could be" sold.

Here is a link to the Bruce Giants show being sold on Ticketmaster. Click on the "seating chart" link and you'll see how much of the stadium is NOT being utilized.

http://www.ticketmaster.com/event/00...ket_brand=home

No way the field makes up for all those seats.

You know, I really think you'd still enjoy going to a show even though you hate all things LH, Jon, etc, lol! I say buy a ticket a try it and then come back with a review of the show like you did for O2 (I was at the O2 show as well).

For the HAND tour, they played Mohegan, the Garden, Mohegan, Foxboro... in that order I believe. I have faith they will be coming to Fenway, and maybe even another show at Mohegan after!!!
