it holds 80.242.
At a concert the seats behind the stage are not sold BUT you have the people in the standing area( or seats ??) on the lawn. SO that it holds more people on the inside than when you sell the seats behind the stage. I think it even holds more than 80.000 at a concert!
You're 100% wrong. It HELD 80,000 for a Pope John Paul Mass. It normally HOLDS 55,000 for a concert. It WOULD be 80,000 with the entire back AND floor seats open. As was said, it's what the promoter sets it as. Common sense - Every stage setup is different. It's based on the configuration.

GOD...

Please forgive those unthankful people conplaning about "how Bon Jovi could not play in Boston?". They have no idea how hard is to be a fan of a band who haven't did a concert about 12 years in their country.

My advice: rent a car, get a couple of friends, get some food and soda (and beers for those who will not drive) and go to travel to the most closely city that Bon jovi will perform and get some extra fun!

And ah... GOD BLESS YOU!
