They played some shows in Australasia, they played some shows in Asia, they played shows in North America, and they're playing shows in many countries all over Europe. In this day and age, this is as close to a World Tour as you're likely to get, certainly by a rock band.

They're playing 9 countries in Europe, and I think they played around 7 or 8 shows in Asia. I appreciate they used to do more than this, but there are very few musical acts around the world who play that many shows. And Bon Jovi aren't exactly getting any more popular these days, they can only play in places where the demand is there.

Why do bands tour? To sell more records = to be more popular.

Well all those shows obviously didn't happen in Asia.

I know bands tour to get more sales, but at the same time you have to be realistic. If you're no longer popular in an area, especially at Bon Jovi's age, you don't tour there. How embarrassing would it be for them to play to a three quarters empty stadium? They have enough money, they don't need to put themselves through that.

I guess that's not the boys style. If they know they can sell out a stadium in America then there's no point to go to small arena's on the other side of the world.
