Isn't that what all the guys say about your mother?

In all seriousness, I have to agree to an extent. They don't sound (Jon in particular) good enough for that.

I've always wondered why they don't release some of their past tours. They've professionally recorded every one of them. Maybe they're too embarassed to see how much better they used to sound.

They don't do this because Jon is a perfectionist. Remember Yokohama acoustic? It wasn't perfect in his opinion even though it was recorded professionally (3 hours long) so he didn't publish it but gave us This sh.. feels left instead. He never would publish something that doesn't have his okay.

Beside he acts differently on stage when he knows that something is recorded.

Didn't he and Richie both have a cold when they recorded it? And they did each song a few times anyway, so could have recorded it - but obviously chose not to.

yes and its clearly hearable on the bootleg so Jon was totally OK to not release that.
But then again TLFR was a stupid choice, they are damn good just acoustic

And could've decided to make a compilation of the setlists that were half acoustic/half electric in the end of the Bounce Tour. Yes, Yokohama wasn't good enough, but Kiel, Indianapolis, Columbus, Bristow and Pittsburgh were.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

And still play the TLFR (sorta) crap instead of proper acoustic versions as those shows...

Great topic and it is a real money spinner if the band have the balls to back their playing ability.A couple of years ago my fave band KISS did this on every show on the US leg of a tour, some of these shows are absolutely amazing while some are a little disappointing. Its really hard for a band to be up and on for every show but whereas some of us pay a few quid for a dodgy bootleg you get a soundboard recording for a little more money. Its a professional mix of the show and not like some of the crappy youtube recordings you get...There is simply no comparison in quality.I have all 32 shows on disc that KISS did as "Instant Live" and everyone of them is very good or above.........

Ah but you missed the point i was making, most people will only attend one show therefore only buy the show they attend.Only idiots such as i would realise that most of the set lists are the same because being an obsessed fan i bought them all.......
It would save Jovi having to record and mix various shows themselves to release a proper live album....Instant Live is a great idea.....go for it Jovi!!!

Got one Kiss Instant live myself - indeed sounds great (especially when youre from Europe and you won't see them here anymore).
As far as BJ goes: WOuld ve loved to hear some live stuff in good quality until 2006. Nowadays its better they release nothing of this mess.....
