Default Why was Hey God dropped?

I can't understand it. I'm not complaining, just wondering why because they were performing it brilliantly and Jon could sing it well

Thoughts?

An audible is an American football term, that means changing the play from the one that was sent in by the offensive coordiator and/or coach based on what the quarterback sees in terms of defense. So, it's off the cuff so to speak.

The band normally have a slot/s in the show where they will play one of anumber of possible songs. The songs they have lined up that they COULD play is known as a audible.

An audible is like a curveball. Jon will write down some songs on the side of the setlist and they may choose to do them or not, depending on how the show goes.

As for Hey God, Jon thinks its too depressing, and wants the shows to be more upbeat, so that's why they don't do the song all that much, although it does ROCK!!!

Wow Deb -- that sounds like something that would have come from me! LOL Was your dad a football coach, too? Mine coached for 30+ years.

But he'll play Always!? Possibly the most boring ballad in the jovi catalogue!? Good one Jon

Boring? Always?
Always is not boring
Maybe other songs like Bed of Roses or I'd die for you(the version that is sung nowadays).
