How can anyone hate Always?

I ain't mentioning Bed Of Roses, one of my fave songs but nobody agrees! lol

Bed of Roses is one of my favourite songs too! One of the first Jovi songs I ever heard. And as much as I *LOVE* Always, I never understood why it was such a massive hit (then again the same could be said for lots of worldwide hits). But it's so good live, and been getting better and better, even now that the "novelty" has worn off a little bit.

As for why Hey God was dropped, stuffed if I know. Jon. From what I heard, when it suddenly popped up in Kansas City (?) of all places, it got a pretty good reaction even though even though no one knew it. The song rocks and if Jon can deliver it with passion (and there are great performances of it on Youtube) then there's no reason why it can't be in the set.

I just love how its always Jon, that automaticaly gets blamed.

Do we actually know for facts, Jon said "we're not gonna play Hey God anymore because I said so" people?

People on here are always so quick to jump him.

You have a point, but I think the Jon, Richie, David and Tico all do the set together and then Jon has the final say. That's what I think is the most possible explanation anyway...

i think in all honesty jon must have final say on sets, otherwise we'd see a richie solo song now and again...

I think Jon does it and then of course the others have a glace other it and probably make suggestions. But I dunno.

I know in Aerosmith they all put forward their suggestions and make one out of that.

I know I'm a Jon fangirl, but...taking that aside. Seriously, people don't actually know what goes on within Bon Jovi, when it comes to things like this. Shock horror - what if it was a group decision or something else?

Didn't Jon once say he writes the setlists half hour before the show?

That's why I'm getting my reason for saying it's Jon from.

I don't believe for a second, Jon just writes it and that's that. He might be the one that writes it. But the others MUST have a say in it.
