Why was Hey God dropped?

To be fair - and I might get bashed something rotten for this. But F it - I think Jon works the hardest anyway. Let me make this part clear - every one of the band members are obviously very important BUT. Jon is the one that mostly holds it all together on that stage. He's such an excellant showman, and that means being able to hold the band together. He is also, it appears, the one who gets the most stick despite this. I love them as a band, and as I said before - each band member are important. But Jon is the main man. It's how it's gonna be. So, maybe he does have the most say. But he works for that.

that would be quite cool actually, with jon we'd get a rocky set, richie would go all bluesy(lots of TD i would think too),David we'd get lots of melodic stuff and the stuff he wrote. Tico...well i think we'd deffo get sleep lol, also probably what a wonderful world etc. With hugh, who knows, probably faith to start with, then it could be a magical mystery tour.

I don't mean like moving about and stuff. Atlough like I said, he's a fabolous showman and he works that crowd like the others can't. But also, Jon does so much for the band. Who's the one that does most of the promoting, etc.? Jon. Who's the one that people point the finger at? Obviously Jon. Who's the one that got the band together, in the first place? Jon. I'm not even saying he's the most talented, BTW. I'm just saying, he's the main man. Always was, always will be.

But that's with 90% of bands, it's always gonna be the frontman who promotes. The only band I can think of where it isn't the frontman is Motley Crue.
