Default why we are getting ripped off
with all the posts on here seems we are getting ripped off. 20 pound for a programm, drinks from 3.60 upwards bet food is gonna be expensive.

i am a die hard jovi fan got the cd's dvd's and been to most concerts. they must now were in a recession at the moment its 50.500 even before we get there

what do you all think

Prices of food and drink is down to The O2, its the same for every concert there.

Programmes- th going rate seems to be £15-£20 now for everyone Ive seen lately

Prices of food, drink, and merch at concerts are a rip off. In other news the sky is blue and water's wet.

I agree with what Brian said. Food, drinks, merchandise, parking--it's all marked up as high as possible but it's not just Bon Jovi.

I'm also not sure what you mean by it's 50 to get in there. I paid $25 to park but other than that no one makes you buy or pay for any of the above.

I would assume parking fees in most venues could be avoided by simply using public transport (at least if you live nearby).

Which is why we bought cases of water before the shows and brought them in ourselves (they allowed this). That way we didn't pay $4.75 for a bottle of water.

And I refuse to drink alcohol at any show for the same reason. I simply won't pay the ridiculous prices and I refuse to miss a note of music for a bathroom break.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining. It was my own personal choice to drive and pay to park and it was a better option for me than to use public transportation.

Just the same as it's your own personal choice whether to spend your additional money on merchandise, programs and/or food or drink.

A book usually full of pictures of the artist and maybe some text to go with it

they are almost always overpriced - even at £7.

People often buy them at gigs to pass time before the gig starts


20 quid for one, is well...not even worth discussing!
