At Subiaco Oval they check your bags and make you either throw out your water/drinks or drink it all before you go in.

It's the same at The O2 for the most part, you just need to make sure they are well hidden, either under a coat at the bottom of your bag, or preferably in an inside coat pocket.

Standard practice at any venue. Even for football games/rugby etc.

Its to stop people throwing them. If someone threwa full bottle of water with the lid on from the top teir of a stadium it could kill someone in the crowd on the pitch. You take the lid off, all the water is displaced before it hits them and won't cause as much damage.

I could not believe the amount of beer people in my section were purchasing at Meadowlands (First night) I calculated more than $100 was spent on beer just for one couple behind us. To each his own I guess.

I'm like Kathleen, no bathroom breaks for me, I want to enjoy every minute of the show. I'm the same at Yankee games too.I use the bathroom before and after never during
