they've just as much potential trouble touring US as in Europe...

it will never happen

MB20 weren't going to be making much money from the tour anyway - just gigging, travelling, meeting fans, promoting their name in europe

BJ's - there's too much money at stake

It's almost as pathetic as when Paul McCartney cancelled his Melbourne show after the Bali bombings, saying 'this is not the time for a rock concert', though he didn't seem to have any problems for the Concert For New York City.

Bruce was in Melbourne when the war started. Know what he did? Cancelled his press conference, that's it and it's the way it should be.

bruce rocks

did sensible thing: cancelled press conference = promo (more important things to discuss in world) but still plays on to give the fans what they want
