Really?? That would be terrible if BJ cancelled their tour, I don't even want to think about that!
it will never happen

MB20 weren't going to be making much money from the tour anyway - just gigging, travelling, meeting fans, promoting their name in europe

I think this is beyond a money issue. It's safety first. 9-11 tragedies didn't keep me from going to a concert a month afterwards; however, I think Bon Jovi is concerned about the welfare of their fans before the money. Janet Jackson cancelled her European tour after 9-11, and I respect her for doing it. She said that she could never live with herself if something happened to one of her fans.

Of course Jon is.

Drama Queen.

As soon as something 'bad' happens on US soil, everyone starts to panic and over react. I blame this on CNN, MSNBC and the most respected Fox News.

I found it amusing that people were panicing and buying up all of the supples of black tape from the hardware stores. That is how paranoid many people are in the states. You are too easily manipulated by the media.

Not a lot of people realize this in the states, so I don't expect people to realize it internationally, but Colorado is the home of NORAD (North American Aerospace Defense Command). When people think of targets, they generally think of NYC, LA, or DC, not Colorado.

I respect all of your opinions on the media in the US. It's nice that this is an international forum to hear a world-wide perspective.

But to take things back on track--all I was trying to say was that someone indicated that Bon Jovi would not cancel due to financial reasons. I thought that statement was out of place since they would never put money before the safety of their fans.

Take care,
Karen

The fans aren't in danger. The government controlled CNN would like you to believe otherwise though.
