Default Will there be a second Slane show?

Just reading various reports about the upcoming Bon Jovi tour and the list of cities slated for the tour. I noticed on Pollstar and other sites, they list two Bon Jovi shows in Dublin both at Slane???
http://www.pollstar.com/resultsArtist.aspx?ID=73754
They list Saturday and Sunday. With the gap between the first show Saturday15th and Berlin, Germany on the 18th, did you think they planned two dates originally at Slane but not announced the second show yet?

looks possible, the first articles i ve read talked about a possible second show...what makes me wonder though is that they d have to outdo themselves in order to sell that many tickets...i guess they d manage to fill the first day with 80.000 people but double it???

Not a chance of two Bon Jovi Slane gigs, that would be suicide in my opinion as they wouldn't shift enough tickets. Last tour they played x2 RDS dates, still under the capacity of one Slane show, so I doubt they would suddenly double this expected capacity - especially as the show isn't even in Dublin and so a casual fan would think twice of making the trek via public transport to a field in the middle of nowhere. I'd be surprised if this Slane date sold out in the first place to be honest, hence why I am not worried that I have still not got a ticket for it.

Not a chance!!

You can still buy 8 x Gold Circle tickets if you want them and they are still advertising the crap out of this. I doubt they will sell out.

The second Slane date is rumoured for August, doubt that will happen either.

its strange nevertheless that the site mentions a second date...the press mentioned sth like that as well when it was announced. i guess there may be a deal if the demand is there to add a second show

No way on earth there'll be a second slane concert. Like everyone else said, it will be extraordinary if Bon Jovi even sell out one night given the current economic climate, the decreased interest/relevance of slane, and the entire decrease in festival attendances in Ireland.

I wouldn't be surprised if the band reserved those two dates to play the RDS again had the slane gig not materialised.

Not a hope "they" will be doing a 2nd slane date.
There is talk that a 2nd slane concert will go ahead but that will be end of summer with a different headline.
I cant honestly see them selling out slane-to much competition next year.
Springsteen is touring ireland playing 2 concerts in 2 stadiums in the south and 1 in the North a few weeks after Jovi's.
Not the same but Rhianna is also doing a stadium concert the week before Slane and there is also talk of u2 doing a croke park concert too next summer.
That alomng with possible Robbie Williams,Linkin Park -Green Day concerts. There will be huge choice and someone is going to lose out

I think U2 are the only band that could pull off two nights at Slane.
