Default Will There Be another tour in Australia!

Sorry if this has been discussed recently, But I've been fairly busy and havent been able to keep up on my bon jovi habit so I'm unaware if they are going to tour in australia anytime soon just thought I'd ask to see if anyone could let me know. I'm trying to catch up on everything that's happened on here but alot has been discussed cuz I havent been on here for nearly 6 months. It would be awesome if they did come again with a new rock album.

No tour announced yet.

Recording of the new album has been finished and is being mixed in London. It'll probably be out around November.

I'd like to think we'd be included on the next tour, given the sold out shows and good reception they got on the LH tour.

But they've skipped us before. The value of the AUS $ vs the greenback may also play a big part.

Abviously Bon Jovi hates Australia and they'll only tour Europe this time!

If the economy keeps getting worse they are only going to tour the east coast in the US LOL. I'm hearing that the Bruce shows in Europe are not sold out either which is surprising.

I don't think the band's ego (especially Jon's) could take playing to stadiums they have sold out in the past. I wouldn't be surprised to see a scaled back tour especially in certain parts of the U.S.

Not surprising at all, Bruce toured almost immediately after the Magic Tour and not even all the stadium europe sates were sold out on the Magic Tour.

I would think they would tour Australia at some stage on the next tour, given the success of the LH Tour. Australia, while experiencing the effects of the financial crisis, has remained reasonably sound. Technically, we are not even in a recession.

Given just a few of the international acts touring Australia at the moment and the amount of tickets sold you would think BJ could sell out another tour:
*AC/DC sold over 500,000 tickets across the country with the cheapest ticket AUD$99
*Green Day has sold out shows in all major cities
*Pink is doing 15 shows just in Melbourne at the moment with 525,000 tickets sold across the country.

The only tour to do poorly is New Kids on The Block, they canceled their shows blaming the recession...whatever helps them sleep at night.

lol. obviously the recession is the only factor, otherwise they would have been playing to packed stadiums for sure.

I think the fact that the cheapest tix were $100 probably didn't help. If it had been cheaper and I wasn't planning an overseas trip at the end of the year, I may even have considered going for a bit of light entertainment but 100 bucks to sit at the back of Burswood Dome and watch a bunch of old fellas prance around is a bit steep!
