A South America DVD would be the best thing to do, methinks.

i totally agree, especially if they play the same place 2 or 3 times, i think that brasil, argentina and maybe chile cause of the new stadium have the more chances if they decide to shoot a s.america dvd. i m afraid though they wont bring the whole stadium production in south america.

You don't need Bon jovi production team to make a DVD. Local TV channel can do a far better job than the DVD made by Bon Jovi
Just look at quality of WOW WOW TV and Rock in Rio far better than any official DVDs

I think we'll end up seeing tracks released through the official website, or ITunes.

i obviously agree that bj made some average dvds the last decade but the broadcasts you are refering still shoot what the bj team tells them too they just show what the cameras that shoot at every show, maybe they raise their game a notch but thats all, there aint no directors view like we see in u2or rolling stone dvd releases.
i was reffering to the stage set up and not the bj crew. in their last visit in japan if you notice the stage is simpler as the whole production, less lights etc just a big screen unlike both the arena and stadium set up they used during the same period, in order to save money and travel faster

Im pretty sure the stop in Japan jan 2008 had the LH tour setup. It was just a different stage for the first few legs. (1st leg USA, Canada, Australia and Japan) And I see no reason why they wouldnt bring the stadium setup. Its not like the stadiums have their own individual concert setups, they need to bring their own stage. And if theyre doing more than a few dates in South America, why not bring the stage?

its common for some artists to use simpler set ups when they visit markets that are a bit less important or demanding, this way they save money and time, less hours needed for the stage, less tracks, workers and fees from one country to another. if you see clips from you tube its obvious that the stage in japan is different-simpler in comparison to the stage used for the european stadium leg of the lost highway tour, in fact they also used it in central park and used a plane to carry it oveseas.
i certainly hope they ll use the stadium stage, which i find impressive and i really hope for a nice dvd, the ideal scenario would be one dvd from south america and one from europe...its a long shot but we can hope...

It's been confirmed that the stadium stage will make it to South America. However, both the arena stage and the stadium stage are far from impressive. They are fairly standard compared to a stage like the Stones have or like U2 have (not talking about the ridiculous spider they carried with them this tour).

And a stage is shipped and goes on a boat. When the Australian leg of the tour starts the stage is shipped from South America to Australia. It doesn't go on a plane but is being packed in about 10 containers or something like that.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

I think that, considering that there's 3 dates in one stadium there, that there will be some sort of pro shot thing from Sydney. Whether that be an official DVD, or a TV broadcast, I don't know.

I like the stadium stage, personally. But as Seb said, compared to stages by other bands, Bon Jovi's is alright. The arena stage is quite standard.
