I said this before, but they best release a DVD set like the Rolling Stones did with their Biggest Bang set or the 4 Licks set.

They are fairly standard compared to a stage like the Stones have or like U2 have (not talking about the ridiculous spider they carried with them this tour).

And a stage is shipped and goes on a boat. When the Australian leg of the tour starts the stage is shipped from South America to Australia. It doesn't go on a plane but is being packed in about 10 containers or something like that.

Salaam Aleikum,

Jon himself had mentioned they had to use a plane to transfer the stage especially for the central park show, in general i know they use other means of transportation...
Its good news though they are bringing their stage and i think especially the south american crowds fully deserve after all these years of wait.
Does any of you know if they still plan to visit asia-south africa etc as they have mentioned in the begining of the tour, richie had also stated recently that there are thoughts to continue touring in next september october because of the demand. I was thinking that they will surely return to north america so the final us leg would probably be in february on next september...
one last note, its a bit sad in my opinion that the band finally decided to visit south america and faces all these obstacles...like in chile and argentina where there are issues with the stadium.
I have only seen the arena set up and was quite nice but not wow...Maybe U2s stage and Stones are more impressive(the u2 stage for vertigo and all the things you can leave behind were not that nice in my opinion) but i think bjs is comparable to them, the clips i ve seen from giants seemed impressive.

That's what I have been wondering about. I want to know it too.

Although the 'one wild night live' album didn't come over that well, for a DVD i would love to have a full concert DVD with songs from shows all over the world.

Would be a nice thing... Honolulu, Meadowlands, Soldier Field, Canada, Latin america, Japan, Australia, Europe 2011 and eventually one or two bits of O2 & Bercy.

Between all songs some backstage feeds (that can be turned on / off as an option when watching so that you can choose to watch the full deal or just choose to have a better flow)

Would be a cool 'all over the world' document.

For the tracklisting they can use something familiar to the real circle setlist, but making it like 30 songs long. (OR why not dream about a double DVD with about 50 or 60 different songs ... that would be 'groundbreaking' cause i'd show the world how this band really doesn't stick to the 20 same songs during the whole tour)

Including all the staples + most 'unique' played songs...

Ow yeah... i'm mouthwatering here

Cheers

I believe your idea is great, they have all the proshots and if they decide to put some work on it it could turn great, songs from new jersey-chicago-london-toronto-paris-etc combined with backstage scenes and funny fan moments as interceptions.
I really hope for a decent dvd release from the tour. i know they will probably give us sth i just hope they will choose to film the right show with the right setlist...
I dont know why but i believe that if they shoot a show in brasil it would look amazing, the fans are wild, havent seen the band for ages and will be standing and not seated, which take some of the rock experience out...i believe they will record the show in rio if the attendance is high.
In conclusion i dont think that bj will release a 4 disk compilation like the stones but a full show and a bonus dvd with rare songs and strong performances would be nice and welcome and i dont think it would be too hard.
Its obvious that the band is focusing in the touring aspect of the business and try hard to be the no.1 touring act worldwide(they may suceed it for 2 consecutive years with this tour) so they should invest some time and money in order to release a dvd package that flatters the band and strengthens their claim about the best live band around.

I think Maiden made it work with Flight 666, Jon should call Steve Harris.

I personally think a South American DVD would be great. Even better would be a song from many different shows...however that may be a little hard to organise.
