For one - they just finished a big tour - and Jon at least makes no bones about touring being his least favorite thing to do.

I'm in the same boat as you. At least if they do promo shows, they'd be likely to hit Nashville for this CD. So I'll be there if I can!

Richie has made it clear that he dislikes touring too, so I'd bet Dave and Tico would say the same thing if anyone ever bothered to ask them. I don't blame them. Traveling is tiresome when you're doing a short amount for fun. They're doing long hauls for work. It's got to suck.

I think that is kinda sad that first this LH, then Greatest Hits and then new studio album... I think it is too much too fast... A band like BJ should wait and wait and then relaese a great, long waited album like These Days...
I don't wanna see that TLFR-Box set-HAND -row again... Even though Box set is great it is too much in that short period... At least for non-HC fan who doesn't have enough time to digest all that stuff...

Hopefully it will all happen pretty quickly as Jon said in an interview at the end of the HAND tour that Lost Highways, the greatest hits and the new studio album would all be written and recorded back-to-back.
Is that true there's gonna be a greates hits?

That'll be tricky for them to do considering the amout of hits they've had!

Unless it was maybe a double album.......

I don't see a full world tour for the new studio album before late 2008 but if they get the sniff of a chance to open/play wembley it'll happen (even if a couple of million dollars has to change hands!)
