Question Will this be the last time you see the band live?

Question for older fans really.

I really like the idea of playing lots of new songs as its the Because We Can tour but the staples they are playing every night are songs I dont like. In fact the middle chunk of the show looks downright dreadfull and WSYCGH & CCATBQFRM tops it off - its like JBJ has chosen to miss out the era of the band I love so much just to piss me off.
You can bet your last buck, pound whatever that WITW will be dropped by the time they get to UK.

So, lets say they dont change the setlists much will this make you decide that Jovi are done and you will stop going to see them live ever again?

Im really interested to see the setlist for IOW as I reckon that cos Jovi are playing to say only 50%-60% of their fans the setlist will be amazing. The best on the tour. Then the next gig it will go back to being what its been so far.

I really think that this could be my last time of seeing them if things dont dramitically improve.

I understand that most of the people who went to the first 3 gigs may well have enjoyed it but I think that I wouldnt so much as the 1983-1995 era has been left out.

I also dont get why JBJ seems to want to play lots of songs from LH - songs 2 & 3 every night have so far been from that album and I just dont get that as its their weakest album and he knows people didnt really like it.

So - is the last time live for you???

It's not just the older fans who feel the way you do. If the setlists remain as pathetic as they are right now, then I'm not seeing them this tour. I'm glad I haven't bought tickets yet. I have no problem with post-2000 songs being played as long as they are not Who says you can't go home, we got it going on and I love this town. They are among the worst songs Jon and Richie have ever written... It's crazy that they have become staples in the show. Jon needs a reality check if he thinks he will be able to get away with a setlist like this in Europe.

July - Yes. I've already decided to get a refund on my Mohegan ticket for October. It's not just the set lists. It's Jon's whole attitude and energy level. It sucks and I'd rather have the money in my wallet. July is going to be my swan song unless Jon does a 180 before then.

First I was sad that I won't see them more than twice. I can't arrange it with my job but now I'm not disappointed anymore to see them only in Munich and in Cologne. I don't need to hear and see "Captain Crash" and "Who says" in combination three times.

Wednesday may be my last show.
I've had too many good times at a Bon Jovi concert over the years, and I'm affraid to think of how dull their performances have become.
I have no interest in seing a statue rock an arena. (smalle theater, intimate shows, maybe)

I truly believe something's up with him. he must be trying to warm up his voice or something, because I don't get these sets. And that's coming from someone who actually likes WGIGO (works well live), crash, WLOL, etc. But their current structure has snoozefest written all over it.

I think you're all overreacting. This shitty setlist, because it's shitty, is obviously the "standard" they've made for this tour. The one that they'll play in North America and most of Latin America and they'll change when they stand up on Europe.

I'm going to see Bon Jovi this tour, and if they do other in some years, I'll see them too. Who knows what they're going to play on 3 years? Or 5? You can't see the future, neither can I, so when the next tour comes I'll see if I go see them or not.

Aloha !

Nah, I've got a fun group of people who always come together with every tour, we go out to dinner, stuff like that. If the setlists actually stay the same this tour like they are in North America I might give up on doing as many shows as I'm doing now, but I'm not worried at all when thinking of how much setlists change as soon as the band goes overseas.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Ι agree on that, but I think Latin America as well as Australia and Asia expects something different than this random setlist. Come on now LH really?
