If Bon Jovi don't play their 80s songs, I'm sure their tours wouldn't be successful.
Yeah, but if they were only playing 80's songs for those reasons, and really hated playing them, they wouldn't play nearly as many as they do.
I mean realistically they'd only have to play YGLABN, Prayer, Wanted, Medicine, IBTFY, LYHOM, and BTBMB to give casual fans their major nostalgia shot. Even LIS ( though it was a top ten hit) has been widely forgotten by general listeners and radio. But songs such as Raise Your Hands, Blood On Blood, I'd Die For You, Wild in The Streets, Wild Is The Wind, and Never Say Goodbye get played in varying amounts. And the band is always keeping Runaway in the spotlight as well.

In a recent interview posted on here, I think from when they were in Australia or New Zealand Jon said something about enjoying playing 90 or 95% of songs, can't remember the exact quote. But the implication was that there are one or two songs played only because the crowd wants them/it is expected of them/they are the 'legacy' songs. I'll have a look for the interview

1) It's interesting to read these opinions in the light of the 02 speculation.

2) I miss Jade around here.

Any of the holy trinity (SWW, NJ, KTF) should be good to play in its entirety. I don't think it's nostalgia. It's called "acknowledging greatness and what made you successful, so don't be ungrateful bitch" move.
