Well £45 would be near $90, so about the same really.

Yeah I'll go. But probably only to one show whereas I would go to a few if they were cheaper.

This is a pointless, reactionary poll. There are no way the prices for the 08 tour will be the same as the Newark Venue. YES, it's in Newark (shitty town), but it is New Jersey, is a big thing for the state, and thus the prices are accordingly jacked. It's not going to be the same on the tour.

This board is full of reactionaries. People need to use logic sometimes.

Greed.
If I'm honest, I think you're starting to sound like a broken record ... yeah OK, we get it, it's really expensive ... why this needs to be seperate from the "Screw You Jon" topic is beyond me though.

But OK, I'll bite for a moment ... you say the best seats are $337? That's ... about £170 ... which admittedly is a hell of a lot. But the US venues have odd systems of seating don't they ... is that arena all seated? Does that mean you'll have gradations of price for the closeness of the seat? What's the range of prices you're looking at?

Nonsense - The tickets for Giants Stadium in 05 topped out at about $90, and started around $40.

Look man, no one's holding a gun to your head forcing you to read or reply.

US venues seating aren't odd at all. They're arenas. The cheapest ticket is going to run $67, and those will be in the nosebleeds. If the most expensive ticket only ran $90, I wouldn't give a shit. It's the $337 price being associated with Bon Jovi that taps my ass.

Most likely.
To me, Bon Jovi cheap seats are better than most band's front row.
That being said, I'm a 19 year old college student, who can afford to have a concert fund, and to buy 67.00 ix for (fingers crossed) two shows in October.

But, FTR the ix won't be this much.
These shows are seen as "special event" shows to open he Pru.
Whether you or I believe that is irrelevant, because the promotors do.

And no-one is forcing you to buy those expensive tickets.

Besides, are there even details yet? Those higher priced tickets might be VIP in a box or something with a meal or whatever else. Perhaps reserve judgement until there are specific details.

Good point. I guess we'll have to just wait and see. Hey, I hope you're right. I would be seriously bummed not to go to any of the Jersey shows. Just not willing to forgo my rent payment to be there.

Hell **** no. If I were to pay that much, they better play In These Arms 5 times in the show (original version, acoustic version, David Bryan piano only version, acapella version and reggae version), Blood On Blood and These Days. Play the entire side 1 of 7800 Fahrenheit while Jon is standing on his head, play She Don't Know Me and Get Ready from the first album while Jon is doing somersaults. Next, they need to play B-sides like Prostitute, Fields Of Fire, Starting All Over Again, Edge Of Broken Heart, Out Of Bounds, I Don't Wanna Live Forever, Good Guys Don't Always Wear White, Now And Forever, Love Is War, Nobody's Hero, Only In My Dreams (Jon's vocals). Then throw in covers like Here Comes The Sun, Mrs Robinson. A full ballad segment of Never Say Goodbye, I'll Be There For You, Bed Of Roses, Always and This Ain't A Love Song). Oh yeah and Dry County played backwards. All those, in addition to the regular stuff (Prayer, Bad Name, Bad Medicine, Wanted, yada yada yada).
