I am positive that his management has some kind of arrangement with the venue. Probably all the prices are set at the normal wage and maybe the record company will compensate the "loss".

No way. I will go to my local one and Maybe London if I can afford. I think the 02 gig will pave the way for prices and seating arrangements in the UK too.

If it is all seated il save up and just go to a mainland European show where prices have always been less. Theres no way im paying another £100 for a "top priced ticket" which could be on the floor at the back

I'd very much doubt it. I bet they look forward to finally being able to play at Wembley next tour, and they've always played stadiums here and not arena's so I don't see how this 1 promo show would change that. What about the Shephards Bush show in 2002? Or the one in Amsterdam in 2005? Presumably they were more expensive than a normal show, but the subsequent tours weren't any different afterwards right?

Neil stop being so Naive

Sheperds bush and Amsterdam were normal prices. They are going the same way as the police and rolling stones, they have done a full tour on these prices. The promotors have seen how fast this show has sold out so wont bring prices down for the next tour. Sure youll be able to get a ticket for £50 but it will be a shit one

You think that 50,000 'casual' fans in a stadium will pay £50 for even the basic tickets? I don't think so. I just don't see how everyone is being so paranoid because of the prices of some promotional shows. I suppose we'll see come tour time, but I'd personally doubt them upping prices so much like that. Just because other bands are doing it doesn't mean that Bon Jovi will. They managed to have the 3rd highest grossing tour last year, behind The Stones and Madonna if I remember, despite their tickets costing a lot less than those 2.

Well we can only wait and see, but the fact that they are charging so much for these promo shows means nothing compared to a proper tour.
