Jon had a lot more charisma than a broomstick (actually Mike's broomstick has plenty of charisma and Jon topped even the broomstick) and was on a hilarious mood. He was also talking a lot more than usually. True, the setlist was basic, but you can't judge a show based just on the setlist. There were a lot of people that were really excited about the show. It was a huge thing in Wolverhampton, this was the first time they had rock show of this magnitude.

Setlistwise, the least good show we've seen on this tour together with Glasgow, but the energy was still there. Have to admit that we were waiting for a second encore, especially because they started already at 8 pm so there would've been time for it.

That's another reason why I was a little upset. Having breakfast at the hotel, well, the place that called itself a hotle where we were staying (Tom was still in bed trying to get some sleep for his exam). There were a couple there, I was half dead so only realised as they were leaving, but they had a BJ tour Tshirt on, so I started to chat with them. They were really enthusiastic, and really did love them. It's the first time they've seen the band, and I was thinking, if only you'd have seen them when they were playing like they were in MK....

Sorry, I so disagree with that, it may be time to get your hearing checked

I soooo disagree, I think you might need to consider getting your hearing checked

My hearing was fine for Richie's solos, and when he sang.....

True, my hearing is suffering from too many rock concerts... if such a concept as 'too many rock concerts' can exist that is!

wait till the bootleg comes out

his voice was at times "great"

but again he didn't try any difficult parts at all and was flat for a lot of the time

Jon was suffering last night from allergies. That's why he probably sounded off.

he suffers from allergies every ****ing show but it doesn't stop some of the European shows sounding like 1995/6 again does it

if it troubles him so much they shouldn't tour Europe during summer when the pollen-count is so high and all that

well i think youre bein abit hard on jon. im mean he has been singing his heart out 4 the last 20 years, its jus natural that his voice will wear out. however, i think he did a damn good job! i was a little disappointed that he didnt hit the high notes much but he put on a great show - they all did! i was really surprised when richie sang tho. iv never heard him live before n he was amazin! well have more of that thanku!

anyway they looked good, played great and the show was brill! stop moanin!
