Because he knows there's not enough demand for it. Is that so hard for people to understand?

This. There is too much competition touring Europe this summer and the WAN tour had already sold poorly with much less competitors in 2013. Maybe they'll do an arena leg in the fall but anyone who still expects them to announce the big stadiums for this summer is just disillusioned.

Phil tweeted yesterday that Europe is planned for next year.

Probably the first time I don't feel excited about reading something like that.

Simply because many of us had seen this band multiple times up until 2013 when they used to be on a far different level (even in 2013) and I'm personally also uncertain if I should ruin those great memories by going to a concert next year. But maybe they'll find some of that passion again and that'd make it easier.

Because even when I saw them twice in 2013 it became very obvious what a free fall this band had gone through since 2011. And looking back now comparing them to what is going on 2017, the 2013 shows I went to were pretty good.
On those shows I got Dry County, Livin' In Sin, Blood Money, IBTFY and a bunch of cool songs and Jon actually worked the stage. But if I already felt a little let down by the 2013 those shows I'm afraid I will walk out not only a little let down, but very disappointed in 2018.
