Default Worst Live improvisation?

Inspired by the other thread...
Not technically live 'improvisations' but things that they tend to do live which get on your neves or are just plain daft;

1) the whole Captain Crash pantomine (see Crush DVD for an example)

2) All those bloody ''alrights'' on the end of WSYCGH , arghh!

3) Jons limited vocabulary eg;
How we doin do far, alright?
Your gonna put me outta a jabbb! (job)
Is there a Doctor in the house?? *shudder*
2,3,4!
Tico gimme the beat!
etc etc..

That is by far my favourite part of Bad Medicine! "Let's groove boys" I don't know why, but I just love when it gets done.

I liked the breakdown during Bad Medicine as well. the right side of wrong thing last tour didn't do much for me, and the bad dancing in the strobe thing during complicated this tour was funny at first, but by my last few shows I could have lived without it.

You know, I was just thinking about Jon's limited vocabulary last night after watching a bootleg from way back. He certainly has had the same schtick for a long time - obviously he is comfortable with it. Now, I find myself expecting to hear certain things at a show. You could argue that he should mix stuff up verbally too - and he has on this tour - quite a bit actually. But it's always kinda nice to hear the "strap yourself in" or " How we doin so far?"

And as far as the alrights at the end of WSYCGO, (I hate to make another comparison to Bruce) but if anone saw even one show of The Rising Tour, Bruce did a similar thing with Mary's Place. And the Bruce fans complained about it just as much - too repetitive - too boring etc. The minute I heard Who Says live, that's the first thing I thought of.

Does reciting the days of the week count? The intro to Everyday has got to be one of the worst live improvisations ever.

I'm also not too fond of the 'time machine' intro to Runaway. It was a WTF moment for me.

Ha ha, very true Kathleen. He has been saying a lot of the same stuff since 1985 or so!! I'm like you, it may be old but yet it's comfortable.

The only thing I was never keen on was the Right Side Of Wrong acting bit, beyond that nothing really sticks out as annoying.
