I was never really fan of the song"I'll sleep when I'm dead" and I just hate the live version of it.Sorry.
In Crush Tour DVD, Jon shouts like"Yeaah.... .. and something like that at the start of the "I'll sleep when I'm dead" and again asks crowd to repeat after him . It is so rediculous.Sorry.

It just cracks me up that Jon has done the same speeches for close to twenty years now. In Buffalo as soon as Jon uttered "How we doing so far ~okay?" my brother and I looked at each other and rolled our eyes and busted out laughing.

It doesn't bother me at all though. I think someone said it is comforting. It's like Jon's trademark. The "script" is just part of a Bon Jovi show. I just wonder if Jon knows every die hard knows it by heart

I also like almost all the ones you guys have mentioned so far.. especially the Capt. Crash one

The only improvisation i found to be ultra cheesy was his little interperative acting during Right Side of Wrong. Jon standing there with that serious introspective look on his face, gazing into space reflecting, then the crazy arm wailing around the stage... come on... he looked ridiculous

(cue me on the big screen) JBJ: "How good have you been? Oh My God!" (laughs, more teasing) JBJ: "You want it huh, you want it huh? Blood on Blood just for you, the good girl in the front row? The all request hour, the girl in the front row has just asked for Blood on Blood, ok, Merry Christmas young lady!" Amazing <3

Not technically live 'improvisations' but things that they tend to do live which get on your neves or are just plain daft;

1) the whole Captain Crash pantomine (see Crush DVD for an example)
Urgh yeah I cant watch that without cringing

JBJ - I believe

"Sambora's face is a mask of joyous disbelief, as if previously unaware of his ability to play the instrument at all. Reaching the last fistful of notes, he does a fair impression of a man who is actually ejaculating into his jet black flares."

Hehe...Andi...its just personal preference I guess. I know the majority of my friends and probably fellow-BJ fans don't like the song live at all, but sicne the very first time I heard it live, I completely loved it. It was great crowd participation and I really like the arm-swinging. Its just a fun track.

Yeah, its a good fun song live, a crowd pleaser .. but its the whole ''Look, i can see Crash of in the distance!'' thing where jon, richie and hughey stare of into the distance and start talking to 'him'!
