They've been doing stadiums as long as possible and I'm thinking an arena tour might shake things up for their shows. Compared to Hampden stadium the SECC feels intimate, plus they could easily sell it out several shows in the same place, might make them look cool again.

I definitely prefer arenas to stadiums. I prefer even smaller gigs to arenas too.

Default Arena - Stadiums

I used to prefer in doors to outdoor gigs as the atmosphere for me was better inside. But 2 shows - Dublin + Milan changed my mind. Both stadium shows but I loved both.

But having been to gigs at the SECC, I can see what you mean. I wasn't at the gig last night at Hampden, what was the audience like?? Glasgow crowds are normally brilliant, but reviews haven't been brill.

It wasn't nearly packed, which I think hurt the show, and they didn't really sing along to the newer material. Nothing seemed to hurt Jon's enthusiasm though.

I saw them at Wembley Arena and the o2 and was blown away at certain shows. I do think that they should come to the arenas in the UK again, change it up every once in a while

Haven't seen that username in a LONG time hey hon.

From where I was last night, most people were still staying in their seats, barely stood up at all. The crowd was in good singing voice though considering how empty it was.

Not Bon Jovi but I've seen bands perform at 55,000 seater venues and 1,680 seater venues and the latter has always been the better experience. I prefer the intimate atmosphere, better acoustics and air conditioning (it gets past 30 degs. C. here all year at night). The cozy atmosphere makes it really feel as if the band is performing for YOU as the singer's not wandering all over the stage singing to different parts of the audience. At larger venues I feel as if everyone's huddling up against the stage and being herded like sheep, this really kills the experience for me.

😨 The crowd at the San Siro in the stands were on their feet from the start. They were well up for the gig 😀🇮🇹

Yup hallo to you too 😜

I've only seen BJ in arenas, and while I think a big stadium show would be cool...I wouldn't like the show starting when it's still light out. I think that's a European thing though, because outdoor shows here in the US never start till 9pm or sometimes later, after it's completely dark outside. I like the show starting in darkness.

Id love to see another arena tour, one of my fave live moments was on the NJ tour at the NEC in Birmingham UK, where they brought the overhead walkway on tour and the JON came walking right over us singing let it rock......the one I WISH I would have seen is Captain Kidd flying out over the crowd.......
