but **** me - why would you want to pay extra for an already extortionate day out?
if you want to listen to a certain song - take your Ipod and put it on when they play WSYCGH !!!
Actually, THAT is the worst response.

No.

However, I would pay extra to guarantee a soundboard recording of the show afterwards - even if it's not the best show in the universe (though you'd hope it would be).

Matchbox Twenty are doing that on there current tour - you pay an extra £18 and you get a USB wristband with a copy of the show on it - pretty cool if you ask me.

If I manage to get to see them (I might be going to some exotic country the next day, so might not make the Glasgow gig), I'll be taking that offer up.

£18?! How the hell can they justify £18? The net cost of the USB stick for them will probably only be a fiver, or possibly even less.

Aloha !

So if Dry County was a rare song you'd enjoy it more than if it was a regular?

It is expensive, I agree. But I suppose it's one of those one off things people will still pay for - I'd certainly pay it for a Jovi show I was at (so long as I could obviously then transfer the show to my phone/mac/xbox/cd whatever...none of this DRM shit). But then, I've paid over £20 for Jovi bootlegs - MB20, nah.

Maybe it's because it's not just a "stick" but a fancy wristband thing that's USB. Crap, I dunno. Now I think about it, it is a rip off...lol.

Having a rare song become regular makes people not recognise it. Kinda like BOBITA I s'pose.

In These Arms was never a rare song, it was played for half of all the dates during the One Wild Night Tour, half of all the dates on the Bounce Tour and half of all the dates on the HAND tour. What's rare about that?

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan
