I`d be disappointed with an O2 residency myself...............in the current economic climate the cost for people outside of London would be huge, travel, tickets, accomodation...etc if we are going down the arena gigs route, lets at least spread them around the country a little.

Don't get me wrong, I am extremely sceptical that this will ever come about (even more so now that The Sun has published something! ) but if a pig actually flew past my window now and the announcement of the residency did arrive, I'd be seriously worried that they'd be doing the shows at 50% due to the fact that the gigs serve the primary purpose of bailing out AEG, not because Jovi opted to suggest them.

We talk about how easy it has been in the past for the band to slip into auto-pilot mode and yet this would possibly be the most likely scenario in which that auto-pilot button would be pushed. A warm up exercise for the tour next year perhaps.
I agree. We'd be lucky to get 5 of these shows as good as a regular stadium show would be my fear

I'm not gonna turn down the chance to see Bon Jovi indoors, and it's in London!

You'd be crazy not to.

I'd go to the first, and last show.

I'd be really disappointed if it turned out to be true however....

I would get the best seats I could for the last night and possibly the first night. If they shows were amazing then id look into going to another couple towards the end of the 20 nights, but it'd be a case of cheapest I could get as Kathleen would say "were in the building" thats all that matters

There are barely 20 nights available at the O2 in November and December anyway - and certainly not that many in a straight run.
The last thing they'd want is to have to dismantle any stage so that another act can use for one night, then set up again.

As far as I can see, IF it's true, dates would be:

November:
18-30th with exception of 22nd.

December:
1-6

That's a maximum of 17 nights......

i totally agree with you.when i heard this i thought no no no please God no!i hope and prey its all bologney,HOWEVER, i love this band sooo much, that, to know they were playing here in my home country and i wasnt going to see them at least once, would almost kill me!so as much as i dont like the idea or the venue, reluctantly i probably would go for one show.Be nice to hear something official
